Mystery Science Covers 3000: Blackhawk # 199

Hello, I am introducing a new blog segment. Mystery Science Theater 3000 (don't ask about the other 2999) was a show about a human and his "bots" making fun of cheesy movies.. Here I am doing the same with my "bots", but with comic book covers. Here's my reaction to this cover:
Mummified, killer ants? Must be a Tuesday.

Radioactive Man

Radioactive Man is the "Superman" of the Simpsons.
In The Simpsons
In The Simpson television show, he is a fictional comic book character that Bart (one of the main characters) is a fan of. Radioactive was created by Morty Mann and since his first appearance, he has become immensely popular and has been featured in various other media such as black-and-white serials and a movie trilogy.
Powers and Abilities
In the Simpsons, there are few references to Radioactive Man's powers. But, it is known that he possesses super strength and a degree of super endurance.
Bongo Comics
Bongo Comics (that makes Simpson-related comic series) has made a on / off Radioactive Man series. The origin of the Bongo-version of the character was similar to the Simpsons' (he got his pants stuck on a fence and was nuked giving him a lighting bolt-shaped metal shard stuck in his head (ouch)). The series parodies the comic book superheroes and various points in their history. The series is set up to seem like their actually made in the Simpson universe. In Bongo Comics, Radioactive Man's alter ego is an idiotic, billionaire playboy named Claude Kane III. A recurring gag is that in his alter ego he'll wear various hats to conceal the shard.
Powers and Abilites
This verison has more powers (that parodies Superman's) than his Simpsons' counterpart. Along with his Simpsons abilites, he also has super speed, flight and the power to fire "clean, nuclear heat" from his eyes (heat vision). He is also bulletproof.

Chemo

Chemo is the popular Metal Men foe!
Pre-Infinite Crisis
A scientist named Ramesy Norton used Chemo to store his failed chemical experiments. After filling it will various dangerous chemicals, he made an unsuccessful growth chemical. He poured it into Chemo (Big Mistake!), causing him to grow to roughly 25-feet and gain sentience. Chemo learned how to expel the hazard chemicals in his "body". He poisoned / killed Norton and went on a rampage. But, the Metal Men stopped him. Chemo returned various times, despite the Metal Men seemly "killing" him after each encounter and his limited intelligence. Brainiac and Lex Luthor got Chemo to cause mass destruction on Earth-4. But, the Negative Woman used to her energy powers to shatter Chemo's shell. After the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Chemo was brought back to "life" and attack many heroes and joined Lex Luthor's Suicide Squad.
Infinite Crisis
The Society (Secret Society of Super Villains) had Chemo terrorized Blüdhaven, until Superman threw him into space.
One Year Later
In Outsiders- Five of a Kind, Dick Grayson found Chemo floating in space. The cover Justice League of America (vol. 2) issue 13 reveals Chemo joined the Injustice League.
Salvation Run
Chemo is seen being sent to a prison planet. Joker and Gorilla Grodd used Chemo to destory a burrowing creature that were attacking the super villains.

Seven Deadly Enemies of Man

History
Seven Deadly Enemies of Man were demon personifications of the Seven Deadly Sins. The wizard Shazam trapped them in mockingly cartoon-like statues, that he displaced in his subway lair. The demons have escaped their prisons several times, usually with the aid of another villain(s). However in their post-2000 appearances, they were located in the Rock of Eternity.

Members
The original team was a "censored" version of the SDS. Sloth was called "Laziness". Lust and Anger was replaced with Injustice and Hatred. Gluttony was replaced by Selfishness. So their ranks were Pride, Envy, Selfishness, Greed, Hatred, Laziness and Injustice.
But in their post-2000 appearances, they were the exact seven sins: Pride, Envy, Greed, Anger, Sloth, Gluttony and Lust.

Batman of Zur-En-Arrh

What the?! There is a second Batman?!! Yes, there is.
Silver Age
A dazed Batman was teleported to a planet called "Zur-En-Arrh", where he met an extremely humanoid alien named Tlaon, who after spying on Batman decided to become this planet's "Batman". The Earth Batman discovered that on Zur-En-Arrh, due to elements (unknown to humans), he has "Superman-like abilities". The two "Batmans" teamed up to stop invader robots. This version of the Batman of Zur-En-Arrh had an "atomic-powered" "Batmobile" and a "Bat-Radia", that could "jam atmospheric molecules" to affect his enemies' equipment.
Modern Age
Dr. Simon Hurt made Batman insane: he forgot about his past life and was delusional (hence a Bat-Mite-like hallucination). Donning a colorful costume, he called himself "Batman of Zur-En-Arrh" tried to violently murder criminals. It was revealed the "Batman of Zur-En-Arrh" was actually a second personalty created to due exposure to Prof. Milo's gas. But, Batman's rationale (the Bat-Mite hallucination) stopped him.

Ibac

Fictional History
Scrawny "Stinky" Printwhistle tried to blow up a train to steal it's loot. But, Captain Marvel stop him and threw him on to the rock! The Lucifer saved him and made a deal with him. For Scrawny's soul, the Lucifer would give him "the power of the four most evil men that ever lived": Ivan the Terrible, Borgia, Attila the Hun and Caligula! By saying "IBAC", he turned a buzz-cut brute of incredible power via the power of a mystic green fire (similar how a lightning bolt turns Billy into Captain Marvel). "Stinky" doesn't need to give up his until he defeats Captain Marvel and has reformed, but various villains forced him into becoming Ibac. Before the Crisis of Infinite Earths, Ibac joined the Monster Society of Evil. Recently, he joined the Secret Society of Super Villains.
One Year Later
In Secret Six, Ibac battled (and lost to) Ragdoll II. Ibac is one of the villains captured in Salvation Run. Finally in the DCU Holiday Special issue, he is seen battling Captain Marvel, but stops in the spirit of the holidays and work together to fix the damage they caused. CM lets Ibac go and in the last panel both of them are seen in their human forms, but neither recognizes the other's alter ego.
Powers and Abilities
As Ibac, Scrawny has superhuman strength, endurance and agility; and some protection from physical energy attacks.

Spy vs. Spy

Here is "top secret" information on the Spy vs. Spy strip. Spy vs. Spy is a comic strip that appears only in MAD Magazine. Basically, two spies from two unknown and different nations' embassies try to sabotage or kill the other with silly and comical traps. Sometimes, the plan works. Sometimes, the other spy comes up with a counter plan. It really varies from strip to strip. Characters in the strips are:
  • The Black and White Spy- Despite being mortal enemies, they dress almost exactly the same (the only difference is the color). However, their habits differ: the White Spy is an inventor / scientist, having inventing various weapons; while the Black Spy is a more of an infiltrator. Neither one of them is really "good" or "evil", since both of them are equally ruthless. They often use complex (sometimes very ridiculously so) weapons and Rube Goldberg-type props.
  • The Grey Spy- She is a female spy that wears Grey and always defeats the Black and White Spies (which lead her to be kicked off the strip).
  • The Black and White Leaders- These two are the "barrel chested" leaders of the Spies' embassies. They are the highest rank and often gave the spies their missions. They only appear in the early strips.

However, it should be noted that on Spy vs. Spy video game in multiplayer mode appears a red and a blue spy. There's also a robot spy on the game.
